I had 2 shirts and 2 pairs of trousers made to order by A Moda Tailor when in Bangkok recently. My wife also had 2 nightdresses tailored. The garments were measured, fitted and completed within 2 days. The materials used were of very good quality and the garments fitted very well indeed. I can highly recommend this tailor. The shop is small but Mr Moda is very pleasant, obliging and the quality is great.

Shane from A.Moda is now my tailor because he's an honest, patient guy with fair prices. And the best part is that he isn't a hustler.

In a city like Bangkok, there's tailors everywhere, but it's hard to know who to trust. With hustlers and Tuk Tuk drivers on every corner trying to reel you in, it's hard to know who to trust.

But with the guys at A.Moda on Charoen Krung road across from Lebua, you can take your time, sit back and figure out what you really want, and how much you want to spend.. These guys aren't scam artists and they provide you perfect suits and good satisfaction.

I might sound like I'm pumping these guys up, but it's only because I value honesty and trustworthiness in the folks I do business with. It's hard to find in Bangkok. But these guys are the real deal.

During a group trip to Thailand, my roommate and I heard about this shop from some of the other guys that were ordering custom suits as epic souvenirs. We decided to tag along for their fitting to see what it was about and were impressed enough with the shop that we joined in. I wear a suit a few times a week, but have always bought off the rack. I won't do that anymore. Having a suit made to measure is incredibly luxurious and in Thailand, incredibly priced. The two brothers that run the shop were quick, professional, knowledgeable, spoke perfect English and helped us find exactly what we needed. The shop is small, but there are a dizzying array of materials to choose from, all high quality. The tailoring details on the suit/shirt I brought home show that this is a well made suit compared to some in my closet. My only regret from the experience is that I didn't get an additional suit(s) and many more shirts.

As a local resident, I have gone to these gents for about 10 years and had two suits and many shirts tailored by their shop. This city is filled with tailor shops that claim to offer 'the best' in terms of quality, service, price, etc, but it isn't always the case (often a scam for tourists). The guys at A Moda, however, really do provide superb, quality tailoring, using only the best fabric available. All of the shirts and suits they've done for me have stayed in great condition despite years of daily wear. I've recommended A Moda to a number of friends who live in Bangkok and others who are just visiting and they have been very pleased as well. In my experience the craftsmanship, service and fairness in costs available here get no better in BKK and as a longterm local I highly recommend their shop for your garment needs.

My second time at A. Moda after first time in 2018. This time I went for a bit more fashionable oversized olive DB suit. The service is very satisfying as first time. The price is super decent compared to the suit quality. I’m super happy after the second fitting. It was exactly what I expected. They also went above and beyond by fixing my first linen suit that lost one of its waist buttons gratis. I would recommend them to anyone who asks. They sell the tailor-made without breaking your bank and no scam. Believe me, they won’t disappoint you.

Found them randomly as they were next to another tailor listed on Google. They had the cloth I wanted which was obviously a good start but were also quoting a lot cheaper than the other three I'd just been in. Suit was well made and on time. So thanks to Shane

I’ve made three visits for new clothes over the last three years as I’ve been in Bangkok for business. I go out of my way to get Arun and Shane to fit me out with new clothes.

These guys are expert, friendly, and totally trust worthy. The fabrics are beautiful, and the finished products are high quality. So far I have their shirts, trousers, and a jacket, and they’re all my most comfortable clothes.

Make sure you allow proper time for your fitting.

It was a pleasure dealing with both Shane and Arun. They were patient and friendly with me, as I was clearly not experienced in custom tailored clothing. The price was much lower than other locations I priced out, but most importantly, I felt I could trust them, in an industry that is full of tourist rip-offs. My trust turned out to be well-founded. I was stunned with the quality of the fabric and the way the suit fit me (as well as a custom shirt). I wore the suit to my MBA graduation dressed like a boss! Don't let the size of the shop fool you - they deliver big in their product. I wholeheartedly recommend A. Moda and will continue to go to them in the future.
